FULL DAY WELLNESS ADVENTURE  (ADULTS AND CHILDREN AGES 10+)

PRIVATE (Individual) – $350

Additional Participants  (max 6 participants) – $100/person

A Private FULL DAY WELLNESS ADVENTURE is a great opportunity to receive a healing session while enjoying the beauty of nature.  Please contact me to arrange a date. Information packages will be emailed upon registration.

Come join us on a heart wild adventure (pre-registration is required, min 48hr prior to hike day) where you will get to enjoy a beautiful day, healing and hiking in K-Country. Depending on the season and hike selected you may get to experience a ridge, summit or meadow hike and get to take in wild flowers (season dependent), tree-lines, rivers, and/or water falls.
In this Full Day adventure we will have a discovery call to determine your hiking and healing interests.  Cara will take it from their and plan out your adventure.  We will meet at the trail head, or discuss ahead of time to travel together.  During your adventure Cara will introduce several forest healing activities to enhance your experience of releasing, redefining or recreating.  She will intuitively know what is just right.  Throughout the hike there will be a lot of, what she calls, Intuitive Talk Therapy, complimented with Forest Bathing to bring about the clarity your Soul desires.  Oracle Cards will be pulled and Energy work offered to add to the healing experience.  Durations for each activity will depend on the Group size.
Please note, no prior experience is required to participate….you will be guided along your journey. The Hike will be an easy-intermediate 6 hour adventure. Included in this time frame are the wellness components, along with the hike itself.
By the time you get back to your vehicle you will have received a FULL day of HEALING with Cara, all while being replenished by the Life Force Energy of the Earth herself.
These adventures offer up a combination of Cara’s biggest passions….nature and healing

The choice is entirely up to you! All Wellness components are optional (with the exception of the hike itself…lol), but we highly recommend you take advantage of the healing session components of reiki, meditation, angel cards, intuitive talk therapy, and forest bathing.

WHAT TO BRING?
Footwear:
Comfortable, light weight hiking shoes or boots generally work the best. Shoes must enclose the entire foot and toes (no open-toe sandals, or water shoes). Whatever footwear you chose, make sure you have worn them in advance of your trip to ensure they fit well and are comfortable.
For Spring, Fall and Winter hiking it is recommended to have a set of micro-spikes, as conditions can be slippery. You can purchase these at MEC, Campers Village, Atmosphere, and even Marks Work Warehouse.
Gear:
Hiking Clothes that are comfortable enough to layer. (I like to wear long pants, to protect from branches and such, a tank, long sleeve and jackets for layering).  Ensure your back pack is large enough to pack your clothing should you decide to remove layers. Bring hiking poles with  you, should you have them.  Recommended items include snacks and packed lunch, two water bottles (or bladder pack), sunglasses, toque or ball cap (depending on weather), mittens or small gloves, sunscreen, bug spray (seasonal), lip balm, camera, journal and pen, layering clothes for weather, extra socks (not cotton).  Note: Hiking Socks really do make a difference.
*It is also good to have a whistle and a garbage bag, or small towel (if the ground is wet and you want something to sit on)
HWA will have bear spray and first aid equipment with them at all times.

AM I IN GOOD ENOUGH SHAPE?
Give us a call with any of your concerns about participating in one of our hiking excursions. Our hikes are designed for all skill levels and is a perfect day trip. Whether you are looking for more healing, and wellness or something to get your heart pumping we will find something to suit you.  All Hikes are graded as beginner to moderate in Kananaskis Parks. No previous hiking, and/or reiki experience is required. A general rule of thumb is to be able to carry a pack weighing 10-15lbs and hiking approx 4 hrs (7-13km) with vertical gains of 100m – 600m. You will be carrying your own gear, lunch and drinks.

THINGS TO KNOW
All of our excursions take place in beautiful K-Country…and yes that means we will be entering the homeland for bears, wild cats, moose, elk, deer, mountain goats, big horn sheep, snakes, bugs and more! We would like to bring awareness to the fact that there is always a potential of encountering one of these beings on our outing, so if you have a ‘crippling’ fear of seeing any of these animals, these hikes may not be for you. (Maybe book a Signature Healing Session with Anam Cara prior to your first HWA).  That being said, encounters do happen, and it is our goal to keep you and the animals safe.

Also, keep in mind it can get very hot, or very cold and/or wet quickly so please be prepared for all weather conditions.

As well, please be prepared that mobile reception in the mountains is typically poor to non-existent.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking of any sorts (including vape pens) is not permitted during our hikes.

ANIMAL POLICY
Heart Wild Hikes does not permit pets on any of our adventures. As dog lovers we wish this was not the case. We cannot control other off leash dogs that may walk through and how they interact with your pet. This variable can be extremely disruptive and dangerous. We hope you can understand.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
Heart Wild Hikes are family friendly (10+ recommended), and are suitable for people who enjoy an active, meditative, and spiritual outdoor experience.
